During his college years, Badowski concurrently managed and bartended at a local campus bar to support his studies, showcasing his work ethic and dedication. His academic pursuits were marked by an intense focus on his goals, with a motivation to avoid failure rather than simply succeed conventionally.

However, Badowski's perspective on life underwent a significant shift during this period, particularly due to the poignant experience of losing a close friend to cancer. This profound loss reshaped his outlook, instilling in him a deeper appreciation for life's fragility and the importance of making impactful choices.

Upon graduating, Badowski commenced his professional career at Burns & McDonnell, specializing in data center design. Despite the disparity between his academic knowledge and the practical demands of the job, he navigated this phase while concurrently exploring his passion for the restaurant industry, a venture that proved to be a pivotal addition to his life.

His journey into the corporate world following this phase, however, proved to be a stark contrast to his expectations. This prompted a reassessment of his career path, leading him to pursue a role as a Product Owner at Vertiv. Despite a brief interruption due to a position elimination, Badowski persevered and ultimately returned to Vertiv in a different capacity, now contributing as a product manager in the modular solutions team. His role focuses on disruptive technologies like liquid cooling and high-density chips, aligning well with his career aspirations.
